Hi, I set up a Directory late last year. Today is the first time that we want to use the submission form. Since a recent update it seems that I can no longer find, or edit, the image upload field on the submission form. The field is still present on the form (on the last screen), and images uploaded through it are received as intended, but I want to edit the text above the field to explain that the first image uploaded should be their logo, and that the omage order can be changed if needed. I can’t find that anywhere.

I see that the other settings for that section are available under Settings > Appearance > Images, but there’s nowhere to edit the label text. Is this intentional or a glitch?

Everything is fully up to date on the site and running PHP 7.4.

    Hi @jaiji

Thank you for reaching out about this. Any string or label in the application can be modified with a translation file to be whatever you want it to be.

Although a translation file is traditionally used to change the language of a plugin, it also will change ANY string or label in the plugin (For example, you can change the word “Search” to “Find”). You can add instructions for images that way as well.

This article will give you the specifics on how to translate the directory:
    https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/knowledge-base/translating-bd-other-language/

You can also edit the code of the plugin if you are comfortable using PHP to modify that. We have a customization guide here if you’d like to take that route.

    I hope that’s helpful!

OK, thanks very much, I’ll see what we can do.
