Support » Plugin: Gallery PhotoBlocks » unable to edit galleries & error message after saving

  • Resolved tanja1yourstory

    Hey there,

I really love the plugin, its exactly what I was looking for for such a long time! But unfortunately its not working without errors.

After saving the gallery, this error message is shown on the site above the gallery:
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/.sites/351/site2006785/web/wp-content/plugins/photoblocks-grid-gallery/public/class-photoblocks-public.php on line 207 Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/.sites/351/site2006785/web/wp-content/plugins/photoblocks-grid-gallery/public/class-photoblocks-public.php on line 207
(the gallery itself is looking fine, no error there, just this text above it)

And I am not able to edit the gallery. When I click on edit in the gallery overview, the site opens, but there are only 2 pictures shown from the over 40 in this gallery. And I can’t click anything, the page doesnt react, no even to close the gallery…no reaction.

I am working in Safari – latest browser version. And I already deactivated and activated the plugin – no change.

Would be great to get support here!

    Hi Tanja,

can you send the URL to ?

Also be sure you have WP_DEBUG se to to “false” inside your wp-config.php

Hello, we’re having what looks to be the same issue on our site –
is there any progress on a fix? Thanks.

    Hi James,

Diego tried to fix the bug, but without success. But I found out, that one reason is the amount of pictures in the gallery. If you don’t add more than approx. 20 pictures, then its working for 99%! 🙂

And always add a new gallery, instead of copy an existing one – then you should be fine!

But these are only workarounds – hope they fix this bug soon!!

Thanks for getting back to me Tanja, and thanks for the workaround.

Sorry for the lack of responses, I’ll try to check the issue as soon as possible.

Thank you very much Tanja for taking the time to help!

P.s. There was an issue I fixed few versions ago. The fix needs the plugin to be deactivated and then activated again, can you please try also this?
