Unable to delete inactive plugins after being hacked

  • I am unable to delete a number of plugins that are inactive in my word press admin account.

I recently discovered that my account was hacked on July 7th 2013 and an admin user was added to the network admins. (naturally I deleted straight away) I have done the usual (remove admin username, change all passwords, install security plugin, monitored and blocked problematic IP addresses).

Today I even did a restore from back on 2nd August. Then realised that the hack occurred prior to that so I restored it back to todays version. Which is when the extra plugins that I had deleted a few days ago re-appeared. I can now no longer delete them.

    Any help is appreciated 🙂
