Unable to deactivate Buddy Press

    I installed buddypress on my forum talkingsoles.com to add messaging functionality to the site but it has not integrated at all and all I get when clicking on anything buddy press related is an error. But I also cannot deactivate it which is what I would most like to do now.

    Any help is appreciated.

    @talkingsoles I can see by source code that BuddyPress is still activated in your site. If you still cannot deactivate BuddyPress via the admin Plugins > Plugins Installed screen, you can delete the /buddypress folder from wp-content/plugins/ via FTP/SSH.
