Unable to Create Variable for Product (to calculate word count)

    preface: I recently installed WooCommerce on (a child of) XTheme. I then updated WooCommerce to the latest version. I then updated the php files in my theme, as were listed on the System Status page.

    problem: I am trying to create a “word count” variable for a product. I am able to create it under the Attributes tab, but when I try to add it as an Attribute — it won’t save. It just spools and spools.

    I have tried all sorts of troubleshooting… but not I am wondering is this a bug?

    Any suggestions on how I can set a word-count variable for the product. I did download and install the WooCommerce Word Count plug-in, which display the “price per word” text… but I need the actual variable to calculate price.

    Thank you in advance! I am new to this, but diving in with two feet… and was doing swimmingly until now.

    NEVERMIND. I figured it out. It required updating of all kinds, but it seems to work.
