  • Hmm – something slightly messed up – can’t edit existing events but can create new events and edit those.

As usual with WordPress plugin updates – a flamin palaver 🙁

Sounds like this might be related to my problem that the Click to Toggle doesn’t work to expand/contract the edit-side input blocks (Event Details, Discussion, Tags, Featured Image, etc). If I disable ai1ec the toggles work, but the Event Details block has defaulted to contracted so I can’t access the Date/Time, Venue, Cost, Contact fields in the Event Details block. Unfortunately I haven’t found a solution to this major problem. Any suggestions?

Nicola pointed out that this should be fixed in 2.0.7 elsewhere, and that 2.0.7 is due out next week.

I also just saw a post from her in a different thread that may allow you to address the problem now. Look at this thread for the entry on changing app/controller/javascript.php and see if it helps: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/timzone-error-when-upgrading-to-205

Note: If it doesn’t, remember to change it back.

Supposed to be fixed in 2.0.7, due next week (via another post).

In the meantime, you may find the reply from Nicola regarding editing javascript.php here solves the issue: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/timzone-error-when-upgrading-to-205?replies=11

Note: If it doesn’t work, remember to change things back, else you might break something else.
