Unable to create config file

    Okay i have a problem regarding the creation of config file for wordpress. I am unable to do it the auto way whereby an error occurs [error establishing a database connection] . does anyone know how to resolve this problem? (this is under wordpress> setup configuration)

    additional info:
    my servers are running fine. both apache and mysql.
    database created.
