• Nearly all of my orders are created on the backend for my clients.

I use Decimal Product Quantity to be able to charge for variable time (work by the hour). Currently, with the plugin active, I can build the order but I cannot send it to a client. Nothing happens when I click on update, or when I choose an order status. After disabling the plugin, I am able to send the order as expected.

    Current WordPress: 6.9.1
    PHP: 8.3
Current Decimal Product Quantity: Version 20.64

Otherwise, It’s a fabulous plugin! cheers

In Console, I see this error when trying to update/save/send the order:

An invalid form control with name='order_item_qty[353]' is not focusable.
    <input type="number" step="1" min="1" autocomplete="off" name="order_item_qty[353]" placeholder="0" value="1.5" data-qty="1.5" size="4" class="quantity">

    Hi Jason Houge!

    I couldn’t replicate your problem.

    1. Create Order
    2. Add Product 1
    3. Add Product 2
    4. Edit Quantity Product 1, Edit Quantity Product 2
    5. Fill Billing Fields.
    6. “OrderAction” -> “Send order detail to customer”.
    7. Update.
    ——————–
    Result:
    Order updated.
    Email sending OK.

What other Woo plugins do you use?

What happens if you try to edit an Order placed in the normal way?

*The current version of the plugin “Decimal Product Quantity for Woocommerce” will not work correctly if the pages: Cart, Checkout, Order – have a block structure.

You can use for example, plugin: “Classic Editor”.

Also, you can try a plugin “Block Manager” for control of Blocks.
    ShortCode for Cart page: [woocommerce_cart]
    ShortCode for Checkout page: [woocommerce_checkout]

    Thanks for the quick response.
I do not use a block editor.

Step 6 in your list is where it halts. No action happens.
    Step 7 also no action
As a result, Step 5 does not save

What happens if you try to edit an Order placed in the normal way?
As in from the front end? We don’t have any orders from the front end.

    Hi,

I have the same problem when editing a custom shipping field on an order with decimal quantities.

I can’t save the order and get the following JS error in the browser console:

An invalid form control with name=’order_item_qty[653]’ is not focusable.

    Please help/

    Hi misterpo

This happens on some websites, but I haven’t been able to find the cause yet.
Can I see a link to your website?

I’m sure if I could reproduce this error on my server, I could find a solution.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your feedback.

I may have found the issue. We have some orders with 2 decimals quantities.

I have changed in the plugin settings the Step change Quantity parameter to 0,01 and the problem looks to have gone away.

    Cheers.

    Hi again,

I face the same error again on a specific order when trying to edit a custom shipping field on the order edit page.

This might be due to order status, making the order not editable.

    Any idea?

    Cheers

    Hi!

I need to completely replicate your situation to observe the error.
To do this, I need to create an Order with exactly the same parameters.
Describe the Order parameters in detail.
Try creating a Test Site yourself first and reproducing this error on it.

This is a very customized Woocommerce website and you won’t be able to replicate the issue.

I can give you temporary access to WP admin.

    No No No!
This is prohibited by the rules of this forum. Unfortunately. ((

May I share some screenshots ?

I don’t think this will help in this situation.

I use the “WPGear Debugger” plugin to examine processes and find errors.
But there are also more advanced official debugging systems.
