I have a piwigo site running version 2.5.1 and a wordpress site running 3.7. I installed piwigomedia, set the url to the url of my piwigo site and received an error saying "Error while reading from http://www.xxxxxxx.com Please verify PiwigoMedia's configuration and try again." I've also tried the demo piwigo site (http://piwigo.org/demo/) and get the same error. I've unistalled and reinstalled the plugin (version 1.1.2) a few times with the same result. My piwigo site has quite a few photos and is setup the way I want it so I wouldn't be a big fan of reinstalling piwigo. Any help would be really appreciated!

I just got the same error too, first time I've tried using it since upgrading to 3.7. Removed plugin and reinstalled it. Changed the URL a few different ways, but no luck.

I added the demo site above, and this one: http://demo2.piwigo.com/ and both worked on my setup, but I still get the same error for anything from my Piwigo gallery. Upgraded to 3.7.1 this morning, no changes.
Have tried with an http:// in my URL, without it, with www. without www. with and without trailing slashes. Have not made any progress.

PiwigoMedia 1.9.0 was released. It has been rewritten and should fix your issue.
