    There are two screenshots linked:
    https://ibb.co/PttZmxJ
    https://ibb.co/wMXBLLQ

One is the custom CSS code added to the child theme, sylesheet.css for the theme I am using, LeeWay Pro. It shows I am attempting to use CSS to change the color of the items on the calendar that belong to the “loveworks-magazine” category to be YELLOW.

The second link/screenshot shows the effect of the above CSS modification. NONE. There is no change in the calendar regardless of which category I use, or which color I use.

I have send numerous emails requesting support, but none have been answered. I realize that this is a free plugin and no support is promised, but I have my fingers crossed that I can get someone to help me make this work.

This should be a simple answer for the person with knowledge of this plugin. Why is the custom css not changing the color in the calendar.

I am not able to find another Calendar that gives a display of scheduled posts by category BY unique color or color block. This is a feature that would make my calendar substantially more user friendly and informative.

    Thank you.

I’m sorry you’re having trouble with the custom.css on your blog and the calendar. I responded to your email in the Google Group last week.

I suspect that your CSS changes aren’t making it into the admin console of your blog. Please take a look at the browser CSS tools. I would also be happy to log into your blog and take a look if you’d like me to help you figure this out.

Wow. Thank you for replying in less than 10 minutes from making the post! That is amazing.

You are 100% correct in your assumption that the child theme css was not applying to the wp-admin backend.

I am now displaying post listings in color.

On another note, would you please delete the two entries in google groups as they contain an email address that is not a public address — as in my naivete, I didn’t realize my emails were being posted … Thank you.

And thank you again for your quick reply and accurate assumption.

I’m glad you could figure out the problem. I have also deleted your two emails from the Google Group.

    Cheers
