unable to change settings after initial plugin install

see http://chalkupevanston.com In order to change settings on plugin (i.e., font color, etc.) I must uninstall and reinstall plugin. Have not had this issue on other sites with previous WP versions. Suspect there is a compatibility issue with WP 4.6. Have also posted on fruitfulcode’s support page.
