Hello, I am trying to change my php version from 7.4 to 8.0 but whenever I have tried to change, there is troubleshooting once I click on the ‘Add to Cart’ button. I assume, this is to do with the woocommerce plugin? O

    Thanks!

    Hi @puntod

You shouldn’t have any issues running WooCommerce on PHP 7.4 or 8.0. If you’re encountering problems, they might stem from other plugins or your theme.

To isolate the issue, I suggest deactivating all other plugins and switching to a default theme like Storefront. If the problem persists, it’s likely related to WooCommerce. If the issue is resolved, reactivate your plugins one by one to find the one causing the conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation of conducting a conflict test here.

If the problem is indeed with WooCommerce, please ensure you’re using the latest version of our plugin. If you are and the issue persists, it would be helpful if you could provide us with any error messages you’re seeing.

Additionally, please can you share a copy of the following:

    • System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.

You could copy and paste your reply or share it via https://pastebin.com/ and send the link here. This will help us investigate further and provide you with a more accurate solution.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

Thanks, I checked and by deactivating the plugins found out it was an issue with a plugin that connects the store to an ERP.

Glad to know you were able to figure it out! :‎)

I will go ahead and mark the thread as solved. If you have a few minutes, we’d love it if you could leave us a review from here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews/

    Cheers!
