[Resolved] Unable to change page order

  • I recently moved my blog from wordpress.com to my own hosting, at test.unorthodoxmovie.com

In the process, the page ordering got screwed up. First I tried fixing it using the numerical ordering on the individual pages (which had worked fine when I was on wordpress.com) but no luck.

Then I deleted a page (“Contact”) and it still remained on the menu bar, though when you click through to the page, the page doesn’t actually exist.

I searched the forum and found what I thought was a solution — downloading a “drag and drap” page ordering plugin called “Simple Page Ordering” — but although I switched the order on the admin side using the drag and drop, this had no effect.

Finally I just tried to add a “Contact” page again and now I have two “Contact” titles on the menu bar, though only the second one points to an actual page.

Any ideas on what I can do? (I’d like the pages to be ordered “About” “Filmmakers” “Blog” “Press” “Donate” “Contact” — and not the current order. Thanks in advance!
