    I’m trying to change the bullet style but I’m not able to do it.

    The default style is the two arrows (>>), I want to change it to disc (•).

    I tried using a code I got from searching in Google, but it doesn’t really do the job.
    All it does is add the disc bullet before the default style >> then the content.

    So before I added the code, what I have was:

    >> 1st item
    >> 2nd item

    After I add my code:

    • >> 1st item
    • >> 2nd item

    I need it disc only. Please help.

  • Hi there,

    Please try adding the css below to the customizer.

    If it doesn’t have the desired effect, please keep the css in the customizerso we can troubleshoot it further.

    Please also post a url to a page on your site where the issue is visible.

    .entry ul li::before, .ftrwidget ul li::before {
        content: "";
    .entry ul li, .ftrwidget ul li {
        list-style: outside none disc;

    Works like a gem! Thanks! Solved my misery.

    Hi, just like to add. The error that I’m getting now is that it doesn’t take effect in Google chrome browser.

    Checked it in Internet Explorer and the new bullet style disc is already showing.

    In chrome, tried deleting the cache and cookies from the beginning of time, tried doing hard reset and empty cache, browse the site in incognito mode but to no avail it is still not showing.

    Do I possibly need to uninstall google chrome browser and install it again?

    Please post a link to a page or post on your site where this issue is visible.

    Then I can check to see if the same behaviour happens for me in Chrome on my devices.

    I tried multiple things to correct this. And finally got it working the way that I want it on all browsers.

    With the code you provided, I just deleted the word NONE in the list-style line.

    .entry ul li::before, .ftrwidget ul li::before {
    content: “”;

    .entry ul li, .ftrwidget ul li {
    list-style: outside none disc;

    I wasn’t able to share the link for the page since my site is still not up.
    Thanks for the quick response and more power!

    Glad to see you got it working 🙂
