Check your servers error_log file for anything that mentions AdRotate – Anything is interesting.
i can’t find anything in the cpanel error log but here’s what i just found out.
if i “add new” and just put anything in the “adcode” like “test test test test” = IT WILL SAVE the ad
but, if i put an html code like <a href="www.google.com">hello</a>
= IT WON’T SAVE
i hope this helps

I can’t reproduce any of that – As far as I can tell, everything works as intended. If anything would go wrong with saving adverts or the code that it processes when saving will be logged in the error_log though.
Okay I’ve gone through it again. Nothing shows up in the error_log.
When you are saving new ad, do you save with the button immediately under the info? Or further down?

i know i’m not the only one experiencing this problem. so there must be something going on which isn’t being detected by error_log.
when i tried to save a new ad with some html code in it, it just says waiting… indefinitely so i end up reloading the page
but when i tried to save an ad with a simple text (no html code), it saves. odd isn’t it?
it doesn’t matter which ‘save advert’ button i use
Without errors or a reproducible method I can’t do or fix anything.
Nobody is telling me anything useful to go with…
As far as I can tell it works fine.
There have been a few updates since this topic got opened.
Perhaps the issue has been resolved already.
no, it hasn’t been fixed despite the updates.
we’re definitely part of the small subset of users experiencing this particular problem. hard to fix indeed because we can’t give you anything to diagnose in the first place 🙂
