Yes, I updated the plugin this morning. Still no count on the FB icon in any of my browsers – Firefox, Chrome, Edge. WP version and all plug-ins on the site are current, and the only plugins running are Robo Gallery, Ultimate Social Media, WPForms, and WPForms Custom Captcha. All browser versions are current.
“This morning” – does that mean less than 6 hours ago? We released the plugin 6 hours ago.
If you enter your homepage url on https://www.sharedcount.com/ it also shows 0 counts – could that be the reason? But you mentioned you stated that it should retrieve the number of the counts of your *Facebook page*, right? How many likes does your Facebook page have?
Also this could be the reason: https://www.screencast.com/t/AXXc2ix9. As we just updated the plugin, please wait a bit more and see if counts show, e.g. in 12 hours.
Yes, I did the update about 2 hours ago. The Facebook icon is associated with https://www.facebook.com/bayareanp. When I enter that URL into sharedcount.com, it shows that I have 31 likes. That reflects the number in my page insights.
My Facebook ID, found at the bottom of the <<About>> tab on that FB page, is 2001501873402501. I copied it from there and pasted it into the setup and saved it again just now, even though it wasn’t really a change.
I also understand the note you’ve highlighted on the Screencast page, and realize that the count isn’t likely to be accurate 24/7, but I expect to at least see “0” there not blank. I realize that you have a work-around for that in the Premium version, which I’ll be purchasing next payday. But for now, I’m hoping to get at least SOMETHING showing up there. I can, of course, enter it manually, and my likes number isn’t growing all that fast at the moment so it’s not that much of a pain. Still, when my likes take off, I want them to keep up without having to manually enter it every time! LOL
I will wait to see if it refreshes later. When I come back from rehearsal (around 12:30 tomorrow morning!), I’ll check it again. 🙂

Does it work if you set manual counts?
Yes, I just now tried it and it works when I set manual counts. I returned it to the retrieve setting so I can monitor it.
So, it’s been two days and the like count are still not being pulled from FB
Thank you, we found a but. We’ll release a new plugin version on Monday which should have this fixed.
I installed the update. I’m still unable to retrieve my likes count from Facebook. It still works if I enter it manually, but my count is changing daily now and I don’t want to have to go in an manually update the count every day.

We double checked, it should work in version 1.9.5. Is that the version you have installed?
I’ve been away from the computer for a couple of days. Yes, I have 1.9.5, and I just checked my page. Everything is working! Yay! Next payday, I’ll be upgrading to Premium. You’re support for us free-trial users is awesome, and you’ve VERY responsive! I appreciate all your help. 🙂
