In WordPress 5 after drag-and-drop images (two or more) to post there is no option to add alt attributes to images.

  • Hi 👋🏼

Once you’ve dragged the image into your post, when you hover over the image a toolbar should appear. Click the edit button (the pencil) – this will show the image in your media library and you can change the ALT text from the right-hand side.

    Hi,

Follow Below Step to add “Alt” attribute to Image gallery.
    1. Click on “Edit Gallery” icon( See http://prntscr.com/lruznc ).
    2. Click on particular image, It show’s attachment detail on right hand side.(http://prntscr.com/lrv08l).
    3. Add the “Alt” text.

Upload the image after uploading image you will find the edit option on right hand side. Just client on it there will be Alt attribute.

    Thank you all!
