unable to add a youtube video in 4.3.1

    Up until recently I could easily copy and paste a youtube link into a blog post while working in the editor. Now it no longer works. This is frustrating and seems like a step backwards. I am on version 4.3.1 Does anyone know what may have happened and how to fix this issue? thank you

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the default theme for your version of WordPress to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
