    Same problem here on WordPress 4.4.2? Has this plugin been abandonded or are there some fixes?

    Hi there,

    You can modify the file /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/postman-smtp/Postman/PostmanInstaller.php

    change this line ( about line 83 )

    $role->add_cap ( Postman::MANAGE_POSTMAN_CAPABILITY_NAME );

    to

    //$role->add_cap ( Postman::MANAGE_POSTMAN_CAPABILITY_NAME );
