# Unable to Activate NextGen Plugin

 * I am unable to activate the NextGen plugin. I have used it several times in the
   past on different websites without a problem. Each time I try to activate Nextgen
   it hangs up my WordPress Dashbaord, and I have to go into my file directory to
   delete in from the plugin folder.

 * Yes, I figured that out after I posted it here. I then saw the Plugins and Hacks
   forum.

 * Normally when this happens to me it’s because the server is unresponsive. I would
   ask your hosting company to see what’s going on.
