Unable to access wp-admin due to fatal error after changing theme

    Hi. I recently changed my theme and got the message below.As a result I’m not even able to revert to my previous theme or change anything to my website. Is there any way I can fix this?

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function genesis_get_option() in /home/……/public_html/wp-content/plugins/genesis-layout-extras/genesis-layout-extras.php on line 253

    you need to rename the theme folder:
    /home/……/public_html/wp-content/plugins/genesis-layout-extras/
    You can do that using FTP or using the file management tools provided by your hosting company…

    Thank you for your prompt reply. I’m indeed still trying to figure out how this FTP works and just started to download filezilla into my computer. I’m still clueless on how or where to rename the folder.

    Try asking your hosts for assistance with this.
