Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

How do I reactivate there are no plugins showing on my website anymore. the deactivation in Cpanel wiped everything out. How do I reactivate in Cpanel? Please provide step-by-step instructions. I have tried everything I know but nothing has reactivated the plugins Thank you

Which method did you use to reset your plugins? phpMyAdmin or FTP?

phpMyAdmin i.e. by changing the name of the plugin folder in the file manager in CPanel. I do not have ftp

Ok, that’s not the phpMyAdmin method detailed in the article, but to undo that, just change the name of the plugin’s folder back to /plugins/

Then, re-activate your plugins one-by-one until you find the one causing the problem.

I have now been able to fix it. I left a space at the end of the name after changing the folder name toplugins. I was able to identify the offending plugins and the website is now okay. Thank you
