• Hi there!
Suddenly I am unable to access to the admin page of my website.
Since almost a year of inactivity I tried this morning to access to the admin page without success. The login is correct but instead of entering in the settings turns again to the login page. I also tried with other users and the result is the same.
Because I am not the only person who works on this domain it is possible that somebody else changed something without telling me.
So I tried to update wordpress manually and I got the classic wordpress message asking me to update the database, which I did. I got the message od the succesfully update but when I click on Continue it goes back to the message asking to update the database…. -.-”
I took a look to the database through phpmyadmin and I didn’t find nothing noticeable strange, i mean the siteurl is correct, the website url is correct, the users are correct…
I obviously already tried to disable any plugin and theme by renaming it through ftp.
    I’m stuck and I don’t come to a head.
    Anybody has a suggestions?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello, when I’m pointing my browsers to your finalenduro/wp-admin location I’m getting a message that you have to update your database. Have you tried updating recently and didn’t go all the way maybe ?

Try updating the database first and tell me if that fixed it. ( Always make sure to keep backups etc )

    Hi @xenos,
    thank you for your replay.
As I said I already updated the database and i get a succesfully message with the continue button. Unfortunatelly when I push che Continue Button I go back in a loop on the message that I have to update the database.
The same loop I first got when I tried to login.

Oh I’m really sorry, I guess my tired eyes missed that update part. Well if you’re always in that loop it’s either something going wrong with your database, so you could try a Repair on the tables through phpMyAdmin or check if the user has sufficient permissions. Also it might be a cache issue just in case you have server side caching.
