A client is enrolled in an in-class course and is trying to access their exam but when trying to do so, there is a note saying that they need to access the online version of the exam before being able to access their exam. The problem is that they are not enrolled in the online version of the course.

The exam seems to be linked correctly to the in-class course and not the online version.

Do you know why it would be doing this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I don’t quite understand your question. Are you sure you are using Watu? There is no courses concept in Watu.

    Hello,
Yes, my client is using Watu for exams.
The exams are linked to her Namaste LMS plugin.

The client is unable to access her exam.

How are the exams linked to courses?

The exam itself sets no access limitations so I still don’t understand what exactly is the problem. An exam can be made required to complete a lesson. If you don’t want this remove the requirement from the Edit Lesson page.

I have tried removing requirements for access provided specific lessons are completed but the client still cannot access the exam.

what happens exactly when they visit the exam page?

When trying to visit the exam page, it prompts the client to first access another course. The online version of the course she is enrolled in.

This is not Watu restriction, check your Namaste Settings. The option you have selected is “Exams that are required by lessons will be accessible only after the associated lesson has been started”.

That’s why you can’t access the exam, it seems you have placed its shortcode inside the lesson and it creates a catch 22.

Either remove the requirement or publish the exam in a regular post and not inside the lesson, then give a link to the exam from the lesson.

I will contact Namaste to confirm this issue.
