    Hi,

As Francis Chukwuebuka, I can’t edit my themes since the 4.9 update. My problem isn’t about saving the new file, but accessing it – through the built-in editor. Apart from style.css, trying to edit any theme file ends up with a “You’re not authorized to edit this file” alert.

I tried – using the “Child Theme Configurator” plugin – to create a child theme to work on, but it gives me the same answer. Finally, edition seems possible through the “Theme Editor” plugin, but this one only shows footer.php, functions.php, style.css and three template-part files.

Is there a new security rule about theme editing ?
Or should I change the permissions with FTP ?

    Thanks a lot,

    Iannis
