• OK so I kept getting emails telling me the BackWPup was having problems. I attempted to abort via the interface and it spat four error lines about “No such file or directory”.

I removed the plugin and deleted it (from within WordPress). Renamed the backup folder (where my backup zips were being placed) to “*-old” and recreated a new folder.

So (I thought) I’d have a virgin installation to reconfigure. But it seems that there’s somewhere else where the data is stored (possibly an sql database?) Still have a job that I can’t abort and now the error is:

Warning: file_get_contents(/mounted-storage/home52a/sub004/sc32297-EIAM/mrtblog/wp-content/backwpup-c556c-logs/backwpup_log_3aaf29_2013-03-03_03-33-36.html) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /mounted-storage/home52a/sub004/sc32297-EIAM/mrtblog/wp-content/plugins/backwpup/inc/class-page-jobs.php on line 469

Any ideas how I can do a clean removal of the plugin to be able to re-install a fresh instance of it? OR how to fix the error above!?

    Thanks in advance 🙂
