# UN/Password

 * I have had a WordPress account since forever and was always on automatic login.
   Today, I had to log in manually and discovered that I was trying to use an incorrect
   password. When I hit “Forgot password”, I also discovered that my WordPress email
   address on file there is one that I no longer have and so can not access so I
   can’t get to whatever WordPress responds with. How can I access WordPress to 
   reset my email and password with an incorrect email address on file there? My
   now-defunct email on file is [xxxxxxx@BajaPropertiesMX.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/un-password/xxxxxxx@BajaPropertiesMX.com?output_format=md)
   and my current email is [xxxxxxxxx@AmesGroupUSA.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/un-password/xxxxxxxxx@AmesGroupUSA.com?output_format=md)

   in your case I would recommend the way via phpmyadmin. The support of your hoster
   can help to provide this interface for you.
