Un Delete Footer Widget

  • I hit the delete button on the right footer widget and would like it back. How do I un delete?

The footer right widget is in the active column to the right but when I open it there is no option to enter information or activate it again.

    Please advise.

    Thx,

    M

Have you looked to see if the deleted widget is in the Recently Active Widgets at the bottom of Appearance/Widgets? If it is, you can just drag it into the footer again.

The “Footer Right” is still in the active widget section to the dashboard. However, I can’t post and the options to “delete” and “close” are not visible. Would you like to see a screen shot?

Is Footer Right a widget or a widget-capable area? Can you drag one of the default widgets on the left into it?

    cannot drag it.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
