I am running into a strange situation where um_profile( ‘profile_photo’ ) returns ‘profile_photo.jpg’ although I have deleted the user profile photo. I have also cleared the user cache.

Any idea how this could be happening? When a user profile photo is removed, I see the files get deleted, but what’s the process that updates um_profile( ‘profile_photo’ )?

    Thanks for any insight.

I think my issue was caused by Redis object caching.

Is there a way to exclude the profile data from object caching?

    Hi @chamois_blanc

You can try disabling the cache in WP Admin > Ultimate Member > Misc > see “Disable Cache User Profile”.
