    Hi,

I upgraded to UM2.0. I swear in the previous version there was an option to disallow login and registration using wp-login.php and force use of UM instead. Since UM forms are customized and wp-login.php is not, I really don’t want people to register using the default wordpress screen.

Where did this option go? I can’t seem to find it.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Those settings have been removed from the plugin as UM had grown to have too many settings so to remove feature bloat we have removed some settings. UM2.0 registration now works even if allow user registration is disabled in WP settings. So you can turn of Anyone can register from WP settings and people will only be able to register via UM form.

    Thanks

    Cool. That explains it.
Disabling registration in WP settings is a nicer solution anyways.

    Thanks

    It didn’t work for me.
If I uncheck “everyone can register”, my registration form shows a message “Registration is disabled”. Trying to complete the registration form, after clicking “register”, it refresh the page and the registration has no effect.
    Can you help?
It could be so useful if this could work…
    Thanks
    Eva
