• I may have found a bug. I thoroughly tested a scenario on several existing sites that I use UM. I also tested the issue on a new installation using Twenty Sixteen without any plugins other than UM.

When a user selects the Forgot Password? link, the process works fine and the user has a new password and is able to log into a site. However, when the user visits his or her profile settings and wants to change his or her password, the user receives an error that states, “This is not your password”

If the user enters the password used before the password was reset via the Forgot Password? link, UM successfully accepts that password.

The big problem is that a user uses the Forgot Password? link because he or she cannot remember the original password.

    Any advice appreciated. 🙂
