• Problem: UM session not expiring/Logout not working.

When “Logout” is selected (Ex.: http://www.mysite.com/membersonly/logout), the user is redirected to (Ex.: http://www.mysite.com/membersonly/login) which displays their profile picture, name, and two links: “Your account” and “Logout”. This happens on all devices (computer, mobile phone and tablet) using different browsers (Chrome and Safari).

Note: The user is unable to view any of the member’s only content despite it appearing as if they are still logged in. The only way for the user to completely “logout” is for them to clear their browser cookies.

My Setup: I have a multi-site setup. There are two sites: Public and Member’s Only.

On the Public site: UM is used only to restrict access to certain items (e.g. member’s only calendar entries that are listed on the main public calendar, navigational menu, etc.). None of the UM setup pages (User, Account, Members, Register, etc.) are used or even created. Users do not register for the public site.

On the Member’s Only site: UM is fully used and all pages (Register, Account, Profile, Members, Login, Logout, Password Reset, etc.) are setup and linked under Settings>Setup. Users can register for this site (Ex.: http://www.mysite.com/membersonly).

    I have tried the following:
    – Created a new Logout page and linked it under Settings>Setup
    – Deactivated ALL plugins (including WP Cache) with zero activated
    – Deactivated theme and switched to the default WP theme
    – Suspended Cloudflare service

None of this has resolved the issue.

I’ve search the forums and could not find a solution. Can anyone help?
