Ultimate theme for newbie

    Hi, I’m looking for the following theme. Any help is appreciated.
    – easy to change color schemes (Weaver is nice, but)
    – has a built it autoblog capability
    I tried WP Robot but seems very buggy
    – compatible with Tubepress
    – compatible with Buddypress
    – compatible with Amazon plugin

    Thanks for any help. I’m a rookie trying to create a niche site.

    Hiya!

    You might wanna look at BuddyPress Colours Pack which basically builds on the standard BP theme with extra options… and it’s free!

    If you want Autoblog stuff, try out http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/autoblog/

    Thanks John. Can someone ping me regarding WPMU please. I am using autoblog with the “weaver” theme. Two things is has issue with:
    – I tried WP Robot and it doesn’t work with the theme. Seems there are parameters in the theme that block or limit WP Robot functionality.
    – The Weaver theme (Wheat version) doesnt’ support BuddyPress.

    OK, I’m dumb as a post. Where is the standard bp-theme. I searched and can’t find it.

    Brian,

    Sounds like Weaver and WP Robot are incompatible. I’m not familiar with either so I doubt I’ll be of any help at this stage.

    Have you tried contacting the developers?
