Ultimate Social Media Icons 2.1.2 update problem

    Update to Ultimate Social Media Icons from 2.1.0 to 2.1.2 fails with message:
    Update Failed: Could not copy file.
    ultimate-social-media-icons/css/fonts/helveticaneue.ttf

    Wordpress version is latest 5.0.3–en_GB

    Thanks Neil for your question.

    Not sure what the issue is – could you please delete the plugin and install it again? Or, if you don’t want to lose your settings, download the plugin zip file here https://wordpress.org/plugins/ultimate-social-media-icons/ and then copy over the contents via FTP or cPanel to your existing plugin folder?

    A million thanks – that’s resolved it.

    Is there a reason why the Ultimate Social Media option in the left menu panel of the dashboard is highlighted in bold?

    Yes, users complained they couldn’t find it, so we did that. However probably we’ll reverse it soon.
