Hi @manoj239
Greetings!
Sorry to hear about it, but, I just checked with the latest version of Essential Addons (6.5.3) on my side, but, could not replicate the issue. Please check here, https://d.pr/v/HXWrXx
Also, 6.3.1 version is quite older, so, its kinds unusual, that the issue appeared after that version. 🙂
Also, based on your shared screenshot, it seems this could be caching issue. After the plugin update, please go through the process. To regenerate assets, you can go to WordPress Dashboard -> Essential Addons then, switch to the ‘Tools’ tab and hit the ‘Regenerate Assets’ button. Check out this screenshot: https://d.pr/i/iBccDw
If you are using any caching plugin, please purge caches. Also, share the page link, where you are facing the issue.
Let me know how its going.
Thanks
Hi Amin,
Thanks for the quick response.
I think there’s a slight misunderstanding. The issue does not occur with the latest plugin by itself. The problem happens when updating the plugin from an older version. As soon as I update from Version 6.3.1 to the latest version, all Advanced Tabs titles lose their background color.
To help you verify this, I have recorded a video showing the exact behavior. I have also uploaded my older plugin version to the same Drive folder I shared earlier.
You can recreate the issue by following these steps:
- Install the older plugin version (the one I uploaded, or Version 6.3.1).
- Check the Advanced Tabs title background colors.
- Update the plugin to the latest version.
- The background colors will disappear after the update.
Please take a look at the video and let me know your thoughts.
Thanks!

Hi there @manoj239 ,
Thanks for taking the time to explain this in detail, and for sharing the video as well. I went through everything carefully. We also tried to follow the same steps on our end, including updating from version 6.3.1 to the latest release, but we weren’t able to reproduce the issue so far. The Advanced Tabs title background colors stayed intact after the update in our tests.
At this point, it feels like something specific to the page setup might be influencing the behavior. Would you mind sharing the page template where the Advanced Tabs are used? That should help us look at this in a more accurate context and see if there’s anything in the template or layout that could be affecting the styles during the update.
Once we have that, we’ll dig into it again and see what we can find. Appreciate your patience here, and thanks again for providing all the details.

Hi @manoj239
Greetings!
We have not heard from you since our last reply. Could you please tell me whether you are still facing the issue after the plugin update from the latest release?
If you are still facing the issue, then, as requested earlier, could you please share the page template where the Advanced Tabs are used? This will be helpful for us to understand the scenario and debug the issue (if any) 🙂
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks for your patience and cooperation.
Kind regards

Hi @manoj239 ,
As we haven’t received any further updates yet, we’ll mark this topic as resolved for now.
If you’re still experiencing the issue, please feel free to reopen the thread and share the page template so we can look into it further.
Thanks for your time.
