    We just purchased this. First off the documents are horrid. Scant at best. No examples and wasted over 5 hours on this things. Wow! What a comedy show this is.

    Anyhoooo…..

    We made the purchase decision for the bulk import based on the selling feature of:

    “Upload all of yourfile using ftp, Import and convert all those to packages at a time”

    You say, I can bulk import which is correct. How do we apply to the ‘packages’ namely the two types of templates of Link Template and Page Template during the bulk insert process? We want to bulk apply certain Link and Page Templates (i.e. Metro) .

    Or do we have to manually apply these template changes to each individual ‘package’ which is not what we want? As said, we want to do this in bulk.

    We looked Downloads–>Packages, but there was no option to bulk apply (or edit) these template changes

    We also purchased the WPDM Directory Add-on. As documented, you say to use the short code of something like:

    [wpdm-archive button_style=”default” link_template=”link-template-panel” category=”category-slug”]

    We attempted to apply the link template of a short code of:

    [wpdm-archive button_style=”default” link_template=”link-template-msthumnail” category=”our category”]

    Are we supposed to use quotes or not because your examples are not consistent?

    In short…why did this not work as you market and document?

    We clearly got the Link and Page templates applied to individual and manually uploaded packages. Again, how do we do the same in bulk?

    As it sits, there is no download link to bulk imported files.

    We are clearly running out of patience on this software.

    We have progressed a little. When we apply to an individual package a lock with email only, a valid email is entered with a name but it just gets stuck at ‘processing’

    The previous also notes that when doing this it breaks the connection to the database:
    Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected. We’re backing up this post in your browser, just in case.

    WTF you developing here? This thing is proving to be dangerous to my site.

    We have concluded that this is a very very dangerous plugin for our site. The email feature clearly brought our site to its knees with almost a crash. It is clearly trash and not recommended for others. We will open a set of disputes with Paypal for faulty software.

    So what, I’m not hiding anything, even in your review first half doesn’t mean anything at all, which is not a bug or an issue, also didn’t we have a full open demo? Everything is fully functional with the plugin if you can set it up properly there. if not we are always there to help you, we can do full free setup. Easy and Simple. Many thousands of high traffic sites are using this plugin with 100% satisfaction.

    Now you don’t know how to setup even though we have clear & detailed docs, you don’t also want our support but just came to give a big honest review?

    So we tried your plugin, docs did not help, and we purchased the product with add ons. We don;t have time to sit around waiting 12 hours for one line answers. We like stuff that works out of box ready to go like the other product we got working within a few hours. Your product failed! Do you refund buyers who are having issues with your software? Most people who stand behind their product do, so i would hopefully assume that is a yes.

    Matter is we don’t even know if you really facing any issue. we need to check it in your installation before anything else, as It is working out of the box for many thousands users and again this discussion is closed here as it is not right place.
