The DB tables are intentionally not deleted as a courtesy to all the folks who upgrade to BPS Pro, but we will add an additional option for non-upgraders to delete the BPS free DB tables. Most folks like the BPS interface and find it very easy to use. If you have another plugin installed that is loading its jQuery scripts in BPS plugin pages then that plugin will break the BPS plugin’s pages, interface, jQuery, CSS, etc. Thanks for your feedback.
BPS menus/interface broken by another plugin’s jQuery scripts loading in BPS plugin pages:

Yep, that will be added in a later version. DSO Server config’s are old school, but in some cases there still might be a very slight benefit in using the old DSO Server config. Most folks (99%) these days have the new CGI Server config. Since so few folks use DSO Server config’s it has had very low priority, but DSO automation is getting closer to being added to BPS. Thanks again for your feedback.
Please let me know if this issue will fixed in forthcoming updates. I re-review my rating.
My opinion: WP runs on “oldschool” DSO Server config whithout any problems. Your plugin for WP should also do.

Yep, BPS will eventually use the WordPress built-in filesystem functions like WordPress does itself to accomodate for the known DSO Server issues/problems – ownership, permissions, etc. The additional BPS DSO coding required to automated DSO setup will hopefully get completed in the next BPS version or 2. Thanks.

Just wanted to give you a heads up on when DSO automation will be added to BPS.
BPS .48.9 will have additional Login Security options added and a fix for the Login Security error on first page access and some other code corrections.
BPS .49 will have full DSO automation.
No official BPS release dates are available at this time, but just wanted to let you know what to expect. Thanks again.

Oops make that .49 not .50. Corrected above.
