    Suddenly, the second level of the sitemap stopped working here … The index works, but any post sitemap entry returns the following message:

    This page contains the following errors:
    error on line 2 at column 1: Extra content at the end of the document
    Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

    Despite this, the exclusive Google News sitemap continues to function normally

    Hi, the page source (Ctrl+u) shows an error:”Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes)”

    The solution can be to either increase the maximum allowed PHP memory on the server, or to set the plugin to “Split by: Month” on Settings > XML Sitemap in the Posts section.
