    Many thanks for your efforts to help me resolve these problems. I activated all plugins again to keep my website functioning. The fully featured slideshows work well in Chrome and Internet Explorer but not in Firefox. Thanks to your link which shows its correct functioning in your website, then I found out it starts to work when I reset Firefox. I am happy that this problem is resolved.

    About menu display, my solution this moment is to move all slideshows to the middle or lower part of pages. In this way, they don’t disturb the normal menu’s display. Hopefully, the next version WPPA won’t cause such kind of problem.

    Thank you so much

    Wppa uses already over 4 years z-indexes 80 and 81 for the slideshow.
    This will not be changed.

    Incidently an issue like yours is reported and fixed the way i explained.

    1. I resolved WPPA slideshow over primary menu problem by adding codes to child theme, not by change z-index in Ubermenu (it did not work when I changed z-index to 80 there):

    .main-content {
    position: relative;
    z-index: 1;
    }
    This may help some other people to resolve this issue, at least it works fine for me.

    2. The fully featured slideshow still not working properly in my current working website with twenty fourteen theme. It works well when I reset firefox, but once I loged in wordpress admin, the problem comes back. I repeated this test few times, and did not resolve this problem. I am quite sure it is caused by plugin conflict in my website where quite a lot plugin installed, because in another test website where also twenty fourteen theme used (only 11 basic plugins installed), there is no such a problem.

    Thanks

    I just want to let you know, I found out the plugin conflict problem between WPPA and CM Glossary Tooltip. Once I de-activated the Tooltip plugin, WPPA fully featured slideshow returns to normal.

    What shall I do now?

    Many Thanks

    Thank you for this info.

    I will investigate on CM Glossary Tootip and see if i can fix it, or if it is a misbehaviour of that plugin.

    You can try to tick Table IV-A13: Defer javascript.

    The first slide will show up later, but there is a good chance that any other plugin will no longer damage the slideshow code.

    I tested and found that this works.

    I can make wppa+ compatible with CM Glossary Tooltip so that you can have linked keywords in album and photo descriptions. The enhanced tooltips do not work however, but the titles and links do.

    This will be available in version 5.4.20, likely by the end of the week.

    Thank you so much for this helpful tip! I tried yesterday, the fully featured slideshow worked really well after ticking Table IV-A13.

    Can I make a donation through ABNAMRO bank overboeking instead of via credit card?

    Best wishes!
