UAM in WP E-Commerce, Categories (wpsc-category) – not hidden by UAM

  • I have a problem hiding wpsc-categories (wp e-commerce categories) from the view of users that do not have access to them. I understand that blocking access is the primary function of UAM but I’d like to ask:

Is it possible to use a function to determine if user has access to a category and then use that to display or hide?

Can you give me an example function that I could add to my template’s functions.php file so that I could use that to modify the output of the wpsc-categories widget?
