UAM can’t handle site load

    Each Thursday a newsletter draws a lot of attention to our site, having it slow down to a crawl. We noticed that disabling UAM causes to site to get back to speed.

    We have around 6000 registered users, and around 50 registered IP-ranges for access to the site. Is this too much for UAM to handle?

    2.1.0 (should be available soon) implements a caching (which can be enabled at the settings) which should improve the performance. Please let me know if that fixes your issue.

    Enabling the cache seems to speed up the site somewhat, but it still takes around 16 seconds for the site to fully load. With UAM disabled, it takes around 3 seconds.

    Which variant did you choose? var_export should be the fastest.
