I’ve tested this on my end using the latest version of the plugin and I couldn’t see the error. Which version of the plugin are you using?
Additionally could you please test for theme/plugin conflicts? Please try using default WordPress theme like Twenty Fifteen and deactivating all other plugins as displayed in the following flowchart to know which theme/plugin is conflicting if any.

So, i’ve made some tests.
I can confirm, there is no error with a default wp-theme.
But the error occurs when activating wootheme «mystile».
So, i will have to dig into this theme.

Mystile is a free wootheme. I doubt, that the wootheme developpers are interested in this issue.
The error is, as far as i can tell, not causing any damage, nor is it corrupting the performance. For the time being i leave it as it is.
