Hey,
The quick answer is – no.
I don’t recall their API being able to do reverse searches, but if I get the opportunity I’ll look back and see.
It would be a very useful feature.
I just had a quick look, and it does look like the ABR API supports searching by name – with a whole bunch of filters included.
How were you thinking it would work?
An ABN search is easy because you just need an exact match and you know it’ll be unique.
Searching by name is a lot more fuzzy – may be multiple people with the same name, people may not type their name correctly.

Hello, thanks for the reply..
So it does not support it now and would be doable following their documentation (?)

Hi @wpuser1000
Currently, I am also implementing the same feature where user should enter only the business name following which the ABN and registration date should auto-populate. Were you able to implement this feature using the same plugin or did you download some other plugin to implement this feature?
Hi @madhavinin and @wpuser1000
Have either of you got the ABN lookpup working in Gravity 2.5 as I cannot seem to get that working. IF so what is your config ??
Thanks
