I was under the impression that when activating sitemaps through yoast this xml sitemap would be removed. I can confirm that Yoast SEO generates the sitemap [https://www.upshow.tv/sitemap_index.xml](https://www.upshow.tv/sitemap_index.xml), while [https://www.upshow.tv/sitemap.xml](https://www.upshow.tv/sitemap.xml) is by a third-party plugin you have active. Can you share a screenshot of what you have in WordPress > Plugins > Installed plugins? By default, when the Yoast SEO XML sitemap feature is turned ON, _/sitemap.xml/_ should redirect to _/sitemap\_index.xml/_. Please keep that plugin deactivated while we work through this together. The / sitemap.xml/ still looks like another plugin is generating it, but I can’t determine which one from the list you shared. So I’d recommend a conflict check to know the culprit. * The fastest way to rule out conflict is to **deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme** like [Twenty Twenty-Two](https://wordpress.org/themes/twentytwentytwo/). * Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the [Health Check & Troubleshooting](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/) plugin.
