    Hi everyone!

I’ve searched everywhere, but still haven’t found the right solution. So I hope that one of you can point me to the right direction!

What I want to achieve is the following: making a second uploads folder that I can select during the media upload process. I would like to have a second uploads folder so that I can keep the files in that folder outside the search results, so a no-follow folder (it’s for a private/exclusive gallery). But for my public gallery I still would like to be able to upload the files like how I was used to.

So my question/problem is: what would be the best way to get this result? Or do you have tips for me for plugins that give the wished result or different ways of doing it?

I would love to hear from you!

    Tamara

  • After FTP-uploading to any folder of your choosing within “uploads”, I believe “Add From Server” will leave them there while adding them to your Media Library. So, maybe you could have /uploads/private/ or whatever as a no-follow folder…but each upload would have to be done manually (FTP/SFTP) and then “Add From Server” could be used if you want the upload to appear in the Media Library.
