• I have been unable to login to my wordpress accounts due to not being able to complete two-step authentication. I had my device recently stolen and got another but changed my number before I relized the mistake I made, I also don’t know how to acquire the ‘back-up codes’ because I saved my back up codes to the same phone.

I really need assistance with this matter if anyone could please help me! THANKS IN ADVANCE

Two-factor authentication? I was using my cellphone. . . I left it at Starbucks and when I returned to get it back. They had given it to someone else. Anyway, I’ve been able to still use the site since then, but I cannot update my gravatar info – which I what I want to do. I no longer use TFA to be specific.

However, I asked my host provider about how to go about correcting the issue. I was told I needed to modify the permissions via MyPHPadmin, but there were no specific details about how to exactly do this. So at this point, I’m a bit lost as to what to do.

You didn’t answer: >> what are you using for TFA? <<

    What plugin?

    Short answer: Disable that plugin.

If you are referring to your login for gravatar.com, we can’t help with that. See http://en.gravatar.com/support/

“what are you using for TFA” …. >> If you mean TWO FACTOR AUTHENTICATION, I don’t use it – I still can access the site for posts ect. <<

    No plugins.
