On my website I offer two completely different types of products. One type is an actual physical product and the other is a service. Is it possible to create two separate checkout pages? I would like to have one checkout page for the physical products and one for the services?

If this is possible, is there any documentation or web links that say how to do it?

    Thank you,

    Pat

  • Hello @pasqualerose ,

    That’s an interesting idea.

In theory, you can use the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode on different pages and all of them will show the checkout page. However, the default one will always be the one that you have selected in WooCommerce settings.

Now, you can customize the behavior and provide different designs for different types of products. Unfortunately, I could not locate specific documentation or resource for that guidance.

Here is an example to show different checkout fields based on product choice – https://remicorson.com/customise-woocommerce-checkout-fields-based-on-products-in-cart/

I can also recommend the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal for resources on developing for WooCommerce.

You can also visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, as well.

If you need a paid solution, you can consider taking help from one of our partner’s website.

    Thank you 🙂

Thank you Rashod. I appreciate your detailed reply with links to the different options to consider. The behavior options sounds like a starting point. I’ll take a look at it and see if it works for what I am wanting to do.

    Thank you,

    Pasquale
