• Two reCAPTCHA boxes appear on admin login. Not able to login. When setting up wpForo Forum, keys were set up for the forum per notice that it was not protected for the forum. Now there is two reCAPTCHA boxes that appear on admin login. After both boxes receive a green check and clicking the login button this message appears; “Authentication failed. You have entered an incorrect reCAPTCHA value.”

Currently I have a “Web Site Construction in Progress” landing page.

Not sure how to get in to remove second set of keys.

    Thank You

  • WordPress doesn’t include ReCaptcha at all. So these are likely coming from some plugin you’ve installed.

You need to disable ALL plugins (or the specific plugin causing this, if you know for sure) so you can get into the dashboard and deal with the problem.

To do this, access your site’s files via FTP or your hosting control panel, open the wp-content folder, and rename the plugins folder to something like plugins-old. This should disable all plugins, allowing you to log in. If you know the specific plugin that is the culprit, find its folder in the “plugins” folder and rename or delete that plugin’s folder instead.

If you want detailed instructions, please follow this guide: https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/disable-wordpress-plugins/

    Good luck!
