Two questions: photo size and custom display of categories

    I’m currently using IP 2.0 but I’m considering to move to IP 1.8 instead.

    One thing I like in IP 2.0 is that photos becomes wider that the text width, is it possible to achieve the same thing in 1.8?

    Secondly, I want to separate the content using categories and would like to be able control how categories are displayed (more that just changing CSS). What is the proper way of doing this in IP 1.8, creating category-XXX.php files or do it some other way?
