 * 1. Any impact of the plugin on shared hosting?
    2. Does it measure speed as a
   logged-in user or as a logged-out user? I have some scripts (like GA) which I
   only load for logged out users.

 * Hey!
    1. I never had anyone reporting any issues with server load – neither dedicated
   or shared hosting (it works the same on both), and I believe you shouldn’t encounter
   any too. 2. It measures speed in a usual way Google PageSpeed Insights do – as
   a logged-out user. Cheers, Sabrina

 * Okay. Thank you for your reply. Last question, when testing, does it test from
   where I am accessing the site (my location) or where the website server is based?

 * That’s another very good question.
 * Google PageSpeed Insights API (which uses Lighthouse API) runs tests from Google
   servers around the world. Which server specifically was used to run this particular
   test is unknown, neither you can point Google from where to test from. Sadly,
   but there is nothing we can do with this.
 * I use PSI and this plugin myself to track the performance and get notified in
   case it changes significantly (means, the site needs my attention).
 * But to see the real users’ experience once in a while I would use WebPageTest.
   org to run tests from the server that is closest to the majority of users of
   the website.
 * Cheers!

 * Thank you for that. I use WebPageTest now and then, but I guess I will stick
   to it since the new GTmetrix has become very inconsistent. Again, thank you for
   this. I will now install this plugin on my site.
